High Speed Chase in Kenosha Linked to Homicide Investigation

Friday at 2:00 PM Kenosha County Sheriff’s Deputies were involved in a high speed pursuit with an individual in the area of Paris Township, in Kenosha County.

The high speed pursuit traveled through areas of Salem and Brighton in Kenosha County and Kansasville and Union Grove in Racine County.  The suspect was driving a stolen black 1988 Ford Mustang at very high speeds and ultimately eluded officers.  

Andrew Mario Obregon has been identified by the Kenosha Sheriff's Department as the mad leading officers on chase. Obregon is identified as a white male 5'8" tall, 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.  

Obregon should be considered armed and dangerous and the public is not recommended to approach the suspect. Anyone seeing OBREGON is urged to immediately call 911.  

During Friday's investigation, Obregon’s mother Susan Marie Obregon, 60-years-old of Brighton, was arrested for obstructing this investigation and aiding a felon.

Numerous police agencies are currently searching for Obregon. As of Friday night, the suspect is not in police custody.

Information leading to arrest and conviction may result in a reward up to $1,000.00.

Police have linked Obregon to the homicide of Tywon Anderson.

Anderson was found along County Highway A and 7th Street in Kenosha on September 26 at 3:03 PM.
