The Big Chill

\"The Big Chill\" is coming to downtown Racine. The ice and snow festival will take over Monument Square January 9th-11th. It features the Wisconsin State Snow Sculpting Competition and the Downtown Rail Jam which is new this year.

On this episode of \"Racine & Me,\" we talk about the cool changes to this year's festival including the new way they'll make the snow used for the sculptures. 

We also have two of the snow sculptors in the studio. They explain how they got involved in snow sculpting and the process it takes to create their snowy art. 

You also learn about the “Big Thrills” added to the “The Big Chill” this year. The Downtown Rail Jam, a ski and snowboarding event, was added after the success of a similar event for summer sports proved successful.
