Racine & Me: Heavy Pedal Tours

 

RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- The owner of Heavy Pedal Tours joined us on Racine and Me to discuss her business! 

Tristine Fleming runs Heavy Pedal Tours. 

She says Heavy Pedal Tours is a 16-seat pedaling party bike that is family friendly and wheelchair accessible. They offer adult pub crawls, beer tastings and brewery tours, food sampling tours, paint and pedal rides, and we often offer rides that coordinate around events happening, like the upcoming debates, Downtown Racine themed First Fridays, the Barbie movie, and we'll soon be offering some back-to-school rides. 

They also partner with a lot of downtown businesses for private parties. Tristine offers full-service party planning for any size private rides. You can get basic decorations on the bike that you provide, or you can get customized decorations that will be ready for your special occasion. I also work with our partners for drink packages for $30 per person. This includes a pre-ordered and pre-PAID drink and tip at each stop. This allows customers to simply walk in, grab their drinks, and enjoy their company and their desired pub. It truly helps our partners' staff to be prepared for our visit and not be bombarded with numerous orders and payments. 

"My mission of this bike is to bring joy and laughter back to humanity. We are so divided right now, and I believe there's more that unites us, and I want people to be able to see the goodness in others again. I hope my bike can do that." 

Public seating during the day is $25, nighttime is $35.

Small private parties 6-10 people is $250, large parties 11-16 is $350.
