Kenosha County sheriff: Body found in Pike River near UW-Parkside

Update on May 5 at 8:05 p.m.: 

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department determined the man died from an apparent suicide. 

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department responded to the area near UW-Parkside Wednesday, May 8, after the discovery of a body in the Pike River.

Deputies secured the area after locating a body belonging to a male. 

Officials say there is no threat to the community or students at UW-Parkside.
