Man shot and killed in street near 48th and Congress

The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a homicide.
The fatal shooting happened Monday night, around 10:10 p.m. near 48th and Congress.
Upon officers arrival, they found that a 55-year-old man had been shot in the street.
Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim died at the scene.
The victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
Milwaukee Police continue to search for a suspect and a motive.
