Lake Geneva's 'Winter Realms' attraction, formerly known as Ice Castles, to open Friday

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Lake Geneva's new Winter Realms attraction, formerly known as their popular Ice Castles display, will officially open this Friday, Jan. 26 at 3 p.m.

New this year, the experience is hosted by the creators of the Ice Castles. 

“It is no secret that the weather this year has provided unexpected challenges, but our team has powered through and we are excited to officially announce our grand opening.” said Ice Castles CEO Kyle Standifird. “We do not know how long we will be able to remain open due to unpredictable weather forecasts, and we encourage guests to come as soon as possible and not wait.”

Winter Realms will include sleigh rides, an ice volcano, igloos, tubing activities, ice sculptures and slides, as well as snow caverns, tunnels and an ice throne, according to their website

Guests will also find warming stations, an ice bar and more. 

Off peak general admission tickets cost $26, while peak tickets cost $30.
