Infant grazed by bullet during Milwaukee shooting

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police responded to a shooting where a five-month-old infant boy was grazed by a bullet. Police say shots were fired around 12:15 p.m. near the intersection of N. 12th St. and W. North Ave.

According to police the infant was in a vehicle with his mother, and adult brother at the time of the shooting. Police says shots were fired into the victim's vehicle from another vehicle. The mother drove to a local hospital where the infant was treated.

Investigators believe the infant's adult brother knew at least one of the shooting suspects. He did not remain at the hospital to speak with police. Police are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
