Hank the Dog has a new children's book

Milwaukee - Hank The Ballpark Pup is well on his way to becoming a best selling author. A new children's book tells the amazing story of how Hank The Dog went from being a stray to a star with the Milwaukee Brewers. The first 75 people in line at Thursday's book release at the Brewers' team store at Miller Park received a free copy signed by the author, and a picture with Hank The Dog.

\"I think there's a universalb appeal. He's just as cute as he can be, and who doesn't love dogs.\" Said, Mary Lynn.

The book's author told CBS 58 what inspired her.

\"I read a small article about Hank, and I was inspired by his story. I love dogs so much. I just love the way he captured the hearts of the people of Milwaukee and the Brewers fans.\" Said, Karen Winnick.

Twenty of percent of the profits will go towards the Humane Society. Hank The Ballpark Pup is a 40-page children's book.
