Bucks' superstar Damian Lillard announces budget-friendly Dame Certified 2.0 shoes

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard has made a significant impact since joining the team over the offseason and is continuing to bring good tidings to Buck fans by unveiling his latest venture in partnership with Adidas.

Through a social media announcement on Thursday, Nov. 9, Lillard revealed the Dame Certified 2.0 with Adidas, emphasizing affordability.

In his announcement, Lillard expressed his commitment to making high-quality basketball shoes accessible. He noted, "I’ve always worked with Adidas to make sure that my main Dame signature shoes are reasonably priced for the higher-end performance hoop shoe category,"

He acknowledged the financial constraints of some fans, adding, "Even with that, I realized that some of my fans would still be priced out, so I asked Adidas to develop another signature line for me that could be sold for $90."

In a Thursday morning post on Facebook, Lillard also added, "I wore 'em in last night’s win and Marjon [Beauchamp] has worn 'em a bunch of times this season."

Lillard's influence on the court has been evident, averaging 22.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5 assists per game, contributing to the Bucks' strong start this season with a 5-2 record.
