Billy Joel concert special to re-air Friday night at 8 p.m. on CBS

We know a lot of people were upset after Billy Joel's "The 100th" special was cut short on CBS Sunday night, April 14. 

The issue was at a national level, with the show dropping out in the final minutes in the Midwest and East Coast. 

We share your frustration about the end of the concert. 

All of the CBS stations around the country get a feed from the CBS network in New York for the shows you see in prime time. There was a timing error on the CBS Network’s part -- not to be confused with us here at CBS 58 in Milwaukee -- so we were as surprised and disappointed as you were.

CBS announced Billy Joel's "The 100th" special will be re-broadcast on Friday, April 19 at 8 p.m. in its entirety. 

Please accept our apologies on behalf of the network, it was an unfortunate event that was out of our control.
