It was a great run! That is, is you like mild temperatures in December!
With just two days below normal, this is now the warmest December in Milwaukee's records. And we still squeezed out another 50 early this morning making that 8 days in the 50s this month, the most on record. After almost a quarter inch of rain on Christmas, we are now drying out and in time the clouds should clear tonight. Moving forward we still have warmer than normal temps in the 40s this week. And one more chance for some light rain and a touch of flurry mixed in Thursday, then cooler temps slide in for the weekend providing a chance for flurries New Year's Eve. Temps to kick off 2024 look to fare cloesr to normal which will be right around the freezing mark.
