Mother's Day is a great time to think about what our mother's mean to us.
"What do you think about mom?"
"She's awesome."
"Why so?"
"Because she gives us food and like she helps us with things."
That young student at Milwaukee Scholars Charter School stood proudly alongside his mother today for the annual 'Muffins with Mom' event.
Mothers, grandmothers, and other important women in the lives of students were invited to share a snack before the start of the school day.
"The more we can get families together, working together with the school, to show that we are all one unit, working together to make them the best that they can be, it's awesome. It's gonna end in awesome results."
We certainly want to wish all the Mothers on our staff and in our audience the happiest Mother's Day on Sunday.
