Local Woman Arrested for Allegedly Running over Her Boyfriend; He Died at the Hospital

A Twin Lakes woman was arrested after allegedly fatally running over her boyfriend in Kenosha County.  

According to Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on April 11 at 1:26 AM.

Deputies were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the 34000 block of 110th Street. 

On arrival they located a severely injured male along the south edge of the roadway.  The male subject had injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.  He was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries. 

The deceased is identified as Brian Engelhart, a 38 year old man from Waukegan, Illinois

The operator of the vehicle involved was on the scene.  She was identified as Anna Wright 29 years old from Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.  She identified herself as the victim’s girlfriend.  She was later taken into custody for charges related to the crash.

The crash is still under investigation by Detectives from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.
