MPD investigating three separate shootings Saturday and early Sunday

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating three non-fatal shootings Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

Around 8:20 Saturday night a 30-year-old man was shot in the area of N 48th and W Clarke Streets.  The he was transported to a local hospital or treatment of his wounds.  The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.

Shortly after 3 AM Sunday, a 26-year-old Milwaukee man was shot during an altercation in the area of S Muskego Avenue and W Burnham Street.  The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds.   The MPD is attempting to identify and apprehend the shooter.

About an hour later, around 4 AM, a 40-year-old man was shot while in an alley in the area of S 8th and W Dakota Streets.  He was taken to a local hospital and is expected survive his injury.   The police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
