Milwaukee Police Release Name of Officer and Woman that Died after Shooting

Milwaukee Police released the name of the man and woman that died at 9600 block of W. Goodrich Avenue on Saturday.

The deceased female in the March 11 incident in the 9600 block of W. Goodrich Avenue is identified as Sherida R. Davis. 

The deceased male is identified as Leon Davis, a Milwaukee Police officer assigned to District Three. 

Milwaukee Police were called to a shooting at 9609 W Goodrich Avenue in Milwaukee on Saturday, March 11. The incident happened shortly after 2:00 PM.

According to police the shooting appears to be domestic violence related and MPD is not seeking any suspects.

Police say the circumstances are still being determined and the investigation is ongoing.
