Milwaukee Woman Found Dead in Her Laundry Chute

UPDATE: A 58-year-old woman was found dead inside her home on 8th near Wright.
Milwaukee Police are calling this suspicious..
Family said her name is Kaye Powell.
She was supposed to be moving so her family went to check on her this morning and found her in the laundry chute.
Police are not releasing any more information.
ORIGINAL: Milwaukee Police are investigating a suspicious death that was reported around 12:25 p.m. on Thursday in the 2500 block of N. 8th Street.
According to police, 58-year-old Milwaukee woman was found deceased inside her residence.
MPD is working to determine the circumstances that led to her death and our investigation is ongoing.
