Powerball Fever Hits Southeast Wisconsin

UPDATE- The numbers are 30, 47, 57, 66, 69 and the Powerball is 3

It's Powerball fever all over the place, as people rushed to buy tickets hoping to win the $348 million jackpot. Hours before the drawing, there were people jetting in to Jetz Convenience Center 70th and Main on Milwaukee's west side. That's where someone recently announced they'd bought a ticket worth $100,000.

"He just came in to use the bathroom, he grabbed a ticket and he won the money," said Karryon Dietrich, Assistant Manager for Jetz Convenience Center.

Customers, who found out about that, began to feel lucky.

"So, this is a good place to buy tickets then," said Cheryl Holley.

Holley has a work pool going.

"I would love to have the winning numbers," she said. "Quit my job, probably take a vacation to Hawaii."

Powerball is played in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
