16-Year-Old Shot in Back by Unknown Suspect

A 16-year-old Milwaukee man is recovering this morning after being shot in the back Thursday night.
According to the Milwaukee Police, the teen and two friends were walking in the area of N 50th and W Marion Streets around 9 PM when shots were fired by an unknown assailant.
One of the shots struck the 16-year-old in the lower back.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wound. The Milwaukee Police have no suspects at this time and are still investigating the incident.
