Project Search Holds Open House at Children's Hospital

Project Search, run by Easter Seals, is giving young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities an internship and possibly a job.

On Tuesday, families were invited to Children's Hospital for an open house.

They're hoping to recruit 36 new interns for a nine month stint at the hospital.

So far, Children’s has hired 12 interns who say it's a great way to learn what they can do and not focus on what they can't.

The application process is open through March 4.

A second open house will be held Wednesday at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
