Angels Among Us Asking Public to Adopt a Homeless Person for the Holiday

Kristy Lynn has turned her life around and for years has been delivering meals and clothes to Milwaukee's homeless.

"There are very few who want to be homeless," Lynn tells CBS 58 News. "Most I've met have suffered a sudden loss of job or some type of event that has put them out onto the streets."

Having worked her way back from brink, Lynn is now going public and on the air looking for community support for her group "Angels Among Us"

Last October she hosted a camp out in Clarke Square Park to bring about awareness and collect clothing.

Now she is asking families to adopt a homeless person for the holidays.

With a minimum donation of $27 you can secure a warm hotel room and holiday celebration.

Lynn was a special live guest on the CBS 58 News at 4:30 p.m. to announce that she has secured a local hotel which has agreed to host the event.

Lynn has also organized a social media fundraiser.
