UPDATE: Child Dies after North Side Fire; Second Child in Critical Condition

UPDATE 7:25 PM:

Milwaukee County Medical Examiner confirmed one of the children has died after a fire on the north side. 

Milwaukee police said a woman and one of her grandchildren remain in critical condition this afternoon after a fire early Tuesday morning. 

That grandmother helped get four of her grandchildren out of the house on 36th and Silver Spring, but couldn't get to a two and ten year old.

Firefighters were able to get to the children the minute they arrived.

This blaze is suspicious but no progress to report in the investigation so far.
