Strong-Armed Robbery occurs in Driveway of New Berlin Home

A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 5800 block of Timber Ridge Court a home at 9:33 PM in New Berlin, according to the New Berlin Police Department.

Officers set up a perimeter in the area and used the police canine in an attempt to track the suspect, but were unsuccessful.

The male and female resident of the home, along with their adult daughter, returned home from dinner at that time. As they parked in the driveway, the daughter exited the vehicle and was confronted by a male subject who demanded her purse and her mother’s purse, stating he had a gun.

The daughter was punched in the face. The man was able to obtain the daughter’s purse and jacket before fleeing on foot. The man was described as a black male with a large build, wearing a gray hooded jacket and dark pants.
