Fiers claims Brewers final rotation spot; Narveson to bullpen
by WDJT Sports

MILWAUKEE - The Brewers didn't fully answer the question surrounding their starting rotation until they arrived in Milwaukee Friday afternoon.

Manager Ron Roenicke announced Friday that Mike Fiers has earned the final rotation spot, with Chris Narveson starting the season in the bullpen while he continues to recover from shoulder surgery.

The signing of Kyle Lohse meant that one Brewers potential starter was going to lose his rotation spot. Yovani Gallardo, Lohse, Wily Peralta and Marco Estrada are the other Brewers starting pitchers.

The Brewers lost an exhibition game 7-2 to the White Sox Friday at Miller Park. Opening Day is Monday.
