Braun listed on records from Miami clinic linked to PEDs
by WDJT Sports

A Yahoo! Sports report says that Ryan Braun's name appears three times in records obtained from the Biogenesis clinic in Miami.

Braun's name does not appear on any list directly next to any specific PED, but his initials appear next to a dollar amount Braun says are not related to acquiring any substances from the clinic.

Braun released a statement Tuesday night, saying "during the course of preparing for my successful appeal last year, my attorneys who were previously familiar with Tony Bosch used him as a consultant. There was a dispute over compensation for Bosch's work, which is why my lawyer and I are listed under 'moneys owed' and not on any other list. I have nothing to hide and have never had any other relationship with Tony Bosch. I will fully cooperate with any inquiry."

Major League Baseball says it will investigate Braun's connection to the clinic.

Braun tested positive for synthetic testosterone after his 2011 MVP season, but won his appeal after raising questions about his urine sample's chain of custody and the integrity of the man who collected that sample, Dino Laurenzi.
