Yorkville Woman Given Two Doses of NARCAN

On Sunday, July 24 at approximately 2:00 PM Racine County Dispatch received a 911 call from a residence in the 2000 block of 51st Drive in the Town of Yorkville that a 23-year-old woman was found unresponsive on the kitchen floor and turning blue. 

The caller advised that the female has a history of abusing prescription medication.

Deputies arrived and found the female to be unresponsive but still breathing. They administered one dose of nasal NARCAN. EMTs arrived on scene and administered another dose of NARCAN via IV. The female then regained consciousness and was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Racine and is expected to make a full recovery.

Deputies conducted a search of the residence and located a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
