Woman suspected in pub theft arrested for drugs after traffic stop in Brown Deer

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A woman believed to have stolen from her employer is arrested after police say they found drugs following a traffic stop. 

According to the Brown Deer Police Department, Parkview Pub reported that a bank bag that had about $130 cash and credit card slips was stolen around 11:00 p.m. Tuesday. They believed an employee was responsible. 

Around 4:45 Wednesday morning, police stopped a 20-year-old Thiensville woman who investigators say was found to be in possession of cocaine. Police say she is also a suspect in the Parkview Pub theft. 

The woman was arrested and taken to the Milwaukee County Jail. The case is being reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
