Woman arrested for third OWI after deputies patrol park

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) – A Dodge County woman is arrested for her third OWI after the Washington County Sheriff’s Office says she was found at a park after it had closed.

The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was checking on Ackerman’s Grove County Park near Highway Z in the Town of Polk when he found someone inside a vehicle at the park after the posted closing time.

The deputy approached the 55-year-old woman from Rubicon and noticed several signs of impairment. The woman allegedly failed field sobriety testing and was arrested for her third OWI. After a search of the car, the deputy found marijuana, a straw with residue, and white powder believed to be cocaine. The deputy said she also had over $4,000 in cash on her.
