Wisconsin pays less for Christmas trees than over half of US, new study shows

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- A new study shows that Wisconsin pays less for Christmas trees than over half of the US.

A study released by the Chamber of Commerce shows that the price of Christmas trees in the US varies immensely from one state to the next.

Prices for Christmas trees in Wisconsin, on average, are lower than the half of the states in the US.

Discrepancies can be seen across the entire country, where the national average is just about $59 for a real, six-foot tree.
