Waukesha Man Allegedly Stole Construction Equipment over the Past Two Years

Waukesha Police Department said it has identified the suspect in numerous construction equipment thefts across Waukesha County over the past two years.

Daniel Wincapaw allegedly targeted construction equipment trailers, skid loaders, mini-excavators and their attachments as well as other contractor tools.

Some of the stolen items were recovered from farmers and businesses in Walworth County.

Additionally, several pieces of skid loader attachments have been located, but they cannot be matched to any police reports on file. The Waukesha Police Department is requesting your assistance with this case. If you have any information about equipment that Daniel Wincapaw may have sold, or if you are missing any skid loader attachments, but have not yet filed a police report, please contact Detective David Feyen at 262-524-3784. Mr. Wincapaw is currently being held at the Waukesha County Jail on a probation hold.
