Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Your child can become one with nature during this first weekend of summer. The Urban Ecology Center is hosting its annual "Fish and Paddle" event on Saturday at the Washington Park lagoon in Milwaukee.
It’s a chance to learn the water sports of fishing and canoeing as well as the safety lessons going with them. It’s also a way to bond with something unfamiliar to so many.
"Fish and Paddle" runs from ten until noon on Saturday for adults and accompanied children at least 6 years old. There are also free fishing clinics every Wednesday from 4 until 5:30 in the afternoon at the Washington Park lagoon.
