What a lovely turn in the weather. Easter Sunday topped out at sixty-eight degrees. And so far today we've reached into the 70s at seventy-one! Have a look:
And temps will only go up from here. The rest of the week highs will push into the mid to upper 70s... and now looking like we'll get an 80 as well. For reference the average high is 53 degrees so this is a real treat at this time of the year. Even though averages are in the 50s the first occurrence of a 70 degree day for the year is on today's date! Another fun fact for today's date is the first ninety of the year. Today's date reached ninety degrees back in 1930. While we won't be that hot, there will be concerns with this warm and dry weather coupled with a southerly breeze this entire week. Our area, and much of central and southern Wisconsin sits in very high fire danger this week. Something important to note as you plan outdoor activities in this nice weather.I'm meteorologist Rebecca Schuld
