DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- New body camera footage shows the Dodge County Sheriff's Department responding to one of the tornadoes last Thursday, May 15.
The video shows a Dodge County deputy as he arrives at home that's been torn apart by the storm -- debris and destruction left behind.
At one point, the deputy takes someone by the hand and leads them away from the wreckage, fearing that the person might fall.
It gives you an idea of the chaos in the immediate aftermath of the powerful storms.
The National Weather Service (NWS) reported there were a total of twelve tornadoes confirmed across the state of Wisconsin during severe storms May 15.
Five of those tornadoes were in Dodge County, where we saw extensive damage in Mayville and Juneau.
One person was hurt in the Dodge County storms, but that person is expected to recover.
