55-year-old shot in residential area of Riverwest, MPD investigating
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis Police say they responded to a report of a fire at Liberty Heights Park near 62nd and Orchard around 12:45 a.m. Saturday.
When officers arrived they discovered that a citizen had put out the fire.
Police believe two suspects, possibly teens, started a fire at the playground around 12:30 a.m. that melted the slide and other equipment causing extensive damage.
Police are investigating the incident and searching for suspects.
