Union Grove woman calls 911 after being run over by her husband

RACINE COUNTY - A woman called 911 shortly before 11 p.m. on April 30th screaming that her husband had run her over.

When Deputies arrived on the scene, they located the woman lying on her porch in the 700 block of Vine Street in the Village of Union Grove. 

The victim, a 46-year-old woman from Union Grove, was bleeding heavily from her ankle. The woman told police that an argument led to her husband leaving the driveway quickly and driving his truck over her.

The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment for a compound fracture to her right ankle.

The suspect, a 35-year-old Union Grove man, was located later in the evening.

He was arrested and taken to the Racine County Jail on charges of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Substantial Battery, Domestic Violence.
