Three separate shootings under investigation by MPD

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating three early morning shootings today.

The Milwaukee Police report that around 12:15 AM a 43-year-old man was sitting in a parked car was shot when an unknown suspect approved the vehicle and fired several shots into the car. The shooting happened N 7th and W Hadley Streets.   The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

At the same time, but in a different location in the city, a 23-year-old woman was shot during circumstances that remain unclear at this time. According to the Milwaukee Police, the shooting happened at S 22nd and W Orchard Streets.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries

Milwaukee Police are also investigating a shooting that happened around 2:20 AM at S 9th Street and W Arthur Avenue.  According to the Police, a 25-year-old man was driving in the area when shots were fired into his  vehicle. The man was wounded and transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

In all three cases, the MPD is continuing to investigate the shootings, attempting to determine motives and is searching  for suspects.
