Three MCSO deputies hurt while securing subject

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office was called around 11 a.m. for a male subject that had fled an emergency detention-related hold at an area hospital, Sunday night. 

According to MCSO, deputies found him near W. Locust St. and N. Teutonia Ave. As they attempted to secure him, the subject struggled with deputies and did not comply with verbal commands. After deploying a taser, deputies secured the subject in their custody.

All three deputies sustained injuries during the incident. Two were transported to the hospital for treatment. 

The subject was transported to an area hospital for evaluation and then to the Milwaukee County Jail, pending the presentation of charges including Battery to a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting and Obstructing.
