MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police responded to three separate shootings Thursday evening.
The first incident, a 44-year-old man was injured by a non-fatal gunshot wound near W. Florist Ave. and W. Appleton Ln. around 5:35 p.m. Milwaukee Police are investigating circumstances behind the shooting.
Around 8:00 p.m., a 43-year-old man had shown up to a local hospital with a non-fatal gunshot wound following a shooting incident near N. 35th St. and W. Center Ave. Police said that detectives are working on finding the exact location and circumstances that lead to the shooting.
Two hours later, a 28-year-old man was shot while in his apartment stairway near N. 61st St. and W. Thurston. According to police, around 10 p.m. two groups began shooting at each other on the street and a round went through the siding of the man's residence and he was caught in the crossfire. Police are seeking suspects and are following up on the incident.
