Race and prejudice have been front and center in the news both locally and nationally recently. Often, the topic of racism leaves many of us without answers or understanding. In order to get beyond racism, we must first take account of race. If we are to effectively nullify the effect of racism, the future must include changing and challenging policies and practices which continue to be the womb of racism in America.
