MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tax season has arrived, and for the many who have yet to receive their W2 documents, there is still time to go into the filing process as prepared as possible.
For example, some COVID-era benefits have come to an end, which means refunds may be smaller than in recent returns.
Mike Steber, Chief Tax Information Officer with Jackson Hewitt joined us on Thursday, Jan. 26 to offer some tips about tax season. In particular, what do you need to know about the benefits of filing early? Also, should you work with a tax professional or is it worth saving a few bucks to just go at it alone?
