CBS 58 is looking ahead to Veterans Day.
Although officially on November 11th, the annual parade in downtown Milwaukee is this Saturday, November 4th.
Then, the American Legion Tanner-Paull Post 120 will be hosting a dance and raffle at its post in West Allis.
$10 admission includes beer, soda and free entertainment.
Money raised through the raffle will go towards two local Veterans groups with proven results of helping the military and their families.
Both Fisher House, which provides housing for families of Veterans being treated at the Zablocki VA Medical Center and DryHootch, a Veteran run coffee shop connecting Veterans with resources for a variety of help from counseling to job placement.
Items include a patriotic quilt and a Green Bay Packer autographed football.
Marine Corps Veteran Larry Elliott will be a special guest Monday on the CBS 58 News at 4.
