MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The director of education at Milwaukee’s Sylvan Learning, Mary Schilling, joined CBS 58 to talk about virtual learning and how to help children that may be falling behind.
Schilling's tips for parents include:
- Make sure your child is reading 20 minutes a day OR read with them if reading is a struggle
- Create games or flashcards to engage your child’s math brain
- Consider a homeschooling/tutoring model as Levitt has done with her children
