GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) – Police are searching for a man after he lead officers on a car chase and then ran away from the scene Friday morning.
According to the Greenfield Police Department, officers tried to make a traffic stop for a minor violation around 3:30 a.m.
The car took off and crashed near the eastbound on-ramp of the Stadium Interchange. Authorities say the suspect got out of the car, ran across the freeway and jumped over the 20 foot wall.
Police searched for the suspect but could not locate him.
Drug paraphernalia and a gun were found in the car.
The investigation is ongoing.
