Ceremonial groundbreaking held for future Milwaukee Public Museum
Our streak of eleven straight dry days came to an end Monday night as rain rolled into southeast Wisconsin. By midnight most of southeast Wisconsin was seeing some rain that became fairly steady and moderate during the early morning hours of Tuesday. Some hometowns especially north of I-94 and away from the Lake saw snowflakes mixing with the snow and even switching over to all snow at times. Tom Donovan sent us this photo from Waupun in Fond du Lac County.
SNOW?! Some of it is sticking to the ground on Waupun, Fond du Lac County. Tom Donovan is sending a clear message, "YUCK". #readywx#cbs58pixpic.twitter.com/IuO8FNPmmz

Rain totals so far this morning have ranged from a half to full inch for most of southeast Wisconsin, especially in our southern half of counties. But a few isolated communities have picked up over an inch.
Going into Monday night's rain Milwaukee was down just over a half inch on rainfall for the month of November. But with the soaking rain Tuesday morning that rain deficit will be erased.
Thankfully if you are traveling the rest of the week there are no concerns locally. Sunshine with highs just below average are expected for the rest of the week.
