OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wednesday evening, January 9 around 7:45 the Ozaukee County Sheriff responded to a report of a semi truck on fire on I-43 south near the 87 mile marker.
The driver saw sparks coming from the back of his truck and when he pulled over the fire intensified between the cab and trailer.
The 45-year-old truck driver was not injured but the truck, trailer and cargo which contained cheese was a complete loss.
I-43 was closed for 30 minutes during the blaze.
