Schauer Youth String Orchestras

Performances: Spring Music Concert – SAT, May 10 at 2:00 pm
The Schauer Youth String Orchestra (SYSO) is two chamber orchestras. The goal of SYSO is to provide an outlet for youth string players to grow to their ultimate potential by introducing a variety of music and musical styles. The expectation is that all students push themselves in order to reach musical excellence as an ensemble. The orchestra's smaller ensemble size allows for a personalized teaching approach, as well as opportunities for leadership and solo work that may not be available in larger ensembles.
Presto Strings, 5:30-6:30 pm
Spring Tuition: $140
Open to grades 5-8, currently enrolled in school orchestra or study with a private instructor, entering Suzuki Book 2 or equivalent.
Bravura Strings, 6:45-8:15 pm
Spring Tuition: $180
For students entering Suzuki Book 3 or higher. Admitted by audition selection only.
