Roenicke to stay in 2015

MILWAUKEE--The Milwaukee Brewers will retain Ron Roenicke as its manager in 2015, the team announced Friday.

Roenicke will remain the manager after one of the most epic collapses in recent baseball history. The Brewers became the fifth team in modern MLB history to lead their division for 150 days and not make the postseason.

The Brewers finished the season 82-80, losing nine of their last 31 games.

Hitting coach Johnny Narron and first base coach Garth Iorg were not retained.
