Report: Julius Peppers to Return to Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have acquired former Packers player Julius Peppers, according to a report from Ian Rapoport.

Peppers was drafted in 2002 by the Panthers. He played for the Chicago Berars from 2010 to 2013, and he moved to the Packers in 2014.

Julius Peppers announced on March 6 plans to play a sixteenth season in 2017, according to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky.

"Julius, after taking some time to reflect during the offseason, has decided that he still has the desire and enthusiasm for the game, and his intention is to play a 16th NFL season," Peppers agent reportedly told ESPN.

Peppers, 37-years-old, was reportedly unsure about his future after the season ended in January.
