Registration opens for 26th annual Famous Racing Sausages Run/Walk

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Registration to take part in the 26th annual Famous Racing Sausages Run/Walk is underway. The 5K and 10K route, along with a virtual option, will take place Saturday, July 27 at 8.m. 

According to a news release from the Brewers, participants have the option to take on a 3.1-mile or 6.2-mile course alongside the Famous Racing Sausages and have the opportunity to run on the warning track at American Family Field.

A commemorative Famous Racing Sausages t-shirt and voucher valid for a Terrace Reserved ticket to a select 2024 Brewers regular-season home game are included in the registration fee. Participants can also opt to pay an additional $10 for an Official Famous Racing Sausages Finisher Medal. Complimentary food and beverage will be served at a tailgate party following the event.

The Famous Racing Sausages Run/Walk benefits the Brewers Community Foundation, Fisher House Wisconsin and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.
