A Wisconsin couple's first dance was a little more memorable thanks to a surprise guest. Rascal Flatts surprised Sara and Brandon McInnis at their wedding reception in Watertown.
The couple already planned to dance their first song to "God Bless the Broken Road.” Little did they know a family friend had reached out to the band back in October when she found out they'd be in Oshkosh for Country USA the same night.
"It was honestly humbling somebody could do that and want to do that for somebody even though they have stuff going on, so much in their lives. It was just something you couldn't even ask for,” said Brandon and Sara McInnis.
Sara says she and her husband were both crying when it happened. They hope someday to have the chance to thank the band in person.
By the way, Sara and Brandon have their own unique story. They met when they were 5-years-old in a church group and got married in the very same church last weekend.
They're also big country music fans.
