Ramirez may miss some spring ball after surgery

Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez may miss a few spring training games after a non-cancerous polyp was removed from his colon.

Ramirez had the procedure done in December after a routine colonoscopy. He is expected to report to spring training in Arizona on Friday and have another physical done Saturday.

The 35-year old played in just 92 games in 2013, after being on the disabled list twice.
